There are many ways to promote your site. Some cost money. It took me some time. Most took both money and time. Well, I have more time than money if you are like this author.
This approach is not going to cost any money, but invests your effort and some time. Sounds fair to you? Let's get started
Here is the first step of "two-step":
1) Write an article
The articles are good to you, probably the best way place for you to get the targeted traffic.
There are many fr * ee ways to get traffic, but none of them bring "targeted" traffic. That's what you really need.
Here is the second stage of the "two-stage".
2) distribute your articles.
There are many ways to achieve this. I will propose some of them. Very much more likely to discover the way.
-Send them to other publishers looking for new content.
-Put them in the article directory. (Easy search finds many,)
-Create an article directory on your site.
-Put them on autoresponders with follow-up messages.
-You can check email messages of sending out and snails.
The more articles you write, send and publish to the line directory, the more exposure you get and the more traffic you receive.
Write at least one article a week and set goals for distributing it. In many cases, you may not be able to get it.
Surprised with the results, the benefits of the article campaign can last for years and become a virus as your articles are posted elsewhere.

"Content is king"-it is undisputed. But how do you get the content? As with most projects, breaking it into bite sizes and easily digesting chunks is practically a fulfillment process. By creating an article, you build and develop its content.
So how do you profit from the article?
I personally find that the best way to approach the "process" of making mony from articles is to work backwards! In other words, determine what your ultimate goal is and understand the previous steps that led to it.

And let's keep a single focus for each step. For example, you want people to sign up for a mini-series-and the email capture / name squeeze pages should only give them that choice! For a mini-series give visitors an alternative to signing. Don't put tons of other links on that web page. Keep it tightly centered-keep in mind the purpose.
Thus, the tasks are in the following order (in the example above):
1] ebook-create and write research, or outsource it elance.com-guru.com, etc. -Your product to make money. If you don't know how to write an ebook, just write it with MSWord or your wp of choice and convert it. Pdf document with password protection. Upload to web server.
2) Create a single web page to introduce, recommend, and solicit orders for your ebook. Include PayPal, StormPay or other shopping cart link to order books.
3] Write 5 short emails as a mini-series (including links to your ebook order page) and put them into the autoresponder.
4] With a mandatory copy for why visitors should sign for your 5 part mini-series and include web forms leading to your autoresponder
5) Having got those three things above, you now need to write an article (s) that includes a link to the resource box on the capture web page of your name.
6) Finally, submit your article in the ArticleAnnouncer directory of use (see link resource box).
Important note: You don't need a big, flashy, complex website to profit from an article! A simple and compelling page that directs them to the autoresponder. From A / r's email messages, you can send them to a simple order page for your own ebook or those on a affiliate product page-Keep it simple!
If you send them straight to the affiliate page from the article resource box (I would be better to capture email first, but I include this as an option
Send the reader to the affiliate page after capturing the email, and miss steps 1 and 2. Step 3 can be a 5-part mini-series or just you can publish (recommend your affiliate product) or still be handed over to the autoresponder for any reason and email address!
