I did not think there was room to buy a rental beach house that year. You see, it was a difficult year for us. I had major surgery that was unexpected. I suffer from appendicitis with complications and it cost me a few thousand dollars. Borrowing a beach house has been a family tradition of a year for a while, but this year it seemed like we had to skip it.
When I told my family, they disappointed but resigned. Everyone resigned to not have a rental beach house, but it is, but my daughter. She loved a rental beach house and she had a passion for swimming since the age of two. She suggested that we rented a vacation house with some family friends, thinking that the idea was a blow of shine. I never considered it before.
