When selling products to customers, find out as much as you can about your customers and their needs before continuing with your sales
This is commonly referred to as "needs-based sales."
The most effective way to find out about your customers' needs is to ask scrutiny, unlimited questions.
Open-end questions do not allow your customers to give you a "yes" or "no" answer, it is what they are about their needs
Here is an example where you were a salesperson at a furniture store and you might ask open-ended questions if you walked a customer looking for a set of dining rooms:

Long ago, my wife and I were in a department store looking for a coat for me.
I hung on a discount rack and found something I like. It was brown, with a removable liner, and a zipper that ran the collar length to protect your neck.
I like it so much, I took it from the rack and tried it.
As I was standing on my own in the mirror, a clerk came and complimented me on my appearance on this jacket.
I smiled politely and thanked her. She went on to tell me that the best part about the jacket was to be real leather-like.
Taking her words for it, I put my nose on the sleeves to smell, and indeed, it smelled like real leather.
It was the only problem. .
I do not like the smell of leather.
Needless to say I put the coat on the shelf and the friendly seller lost sales and commissions.
The mistake the salesperson made was assuming that I liked the smell of leather. Because most people like the smell of leather, it was a safe premise on the sales representative side. This does not mean that it is natural.
The point I'm trying to make is that you can mark them as products about your customers before you prob and unlimited questions as you will end up with more sales. Believe me!
