I haven't rested for 20 years .. Really so my ears started to get well when my gal friends came to me and started saying I want to take a Costa Rican vacation. She told me that it was a holiday destination that it is more comfortable and can be less populated by other tourists, so a few people think
The crazy girl is thinking about retiring there to buy real estate. She asked me if I would consider doing it. I'm good I'm going to leave our belts on vacation and there is a move. Frankly speaking, the only date I had for a while on Saturday night is my 7 year old grandson, safe to say that I need to get away
Planning a vacation is totally alien to me. Because I dress for a trip to a grocery store, thinking about this is big and very big. The internet has caught the market with online travel agencies, but I really want to talk to people and get a scoop. I would like people to use their travel plans and when they arrived, they would like to have their luxury accommodation heard in tents and port toilets how to change to a community bathtub, most preventable. Most tourists get away when planning.
Or, instead search by city, place or address So it's safe to say that I plan on vacationing at least a year in advance. I am a researcher and would like to get all the information before making a plan to pay for a trip. Of course, it is Sunday, and no travel agent listed phonebook is open.
I went to the library yesterday, found a book in Costa Rica, and I read like a devil. The only travel guide I had for me was the 2003 edition I checked in Costa Rica. However, most of the restaurants and hotels have web addresses and toll-free phone numbers, so if I need to, I will
I decided to check on different types of vacations you can plan. I came up with a spa resort vacation, wildlife and national parks, sports vacation, history, shopping, nightlife, and my personal favorite, art vacation.
I found it as still. First, there are seven areas to explore. The most logical place to start is the capital of San Jose Costa Rica. There are other areas that follow; Northwest, Nicoya Peninsula, Quepos & Central Pacific, Osa Peninsula & Golfo Dulce, South Caribbean, and Tortuguero / North Caribbean.
The first thing I have to do is to start saving money for the vacation and planning the vacation. If you do not take a passport then there were many changes in international travel and now you can take up to a year to obtain a passport from 911. So I am starting now.
Costa Rican Art Vacation
Costa Rica has quietly grown in the art world, but in recent years there has been a more developed art community. The island is located in a region heavily influenced by pre-Columbian art, but for the indigenous artists and artists migrating to Costa Rica, it is the world of art where they are pioneering new ground.
There are more than enough museums in the capital of San Jose, Costa Rica. But there is still no real "art" museum. One way to show what their artists have is an artist who displays art there in his own environment, his own home. There is a tour that takes you to the house of 5 or 6 artists in a day tour and you really get the opportunity to experience your work. Really talk to the artist and get to find the process for the art. If you are a creative person this can be real inspiration.
Another tour is given by fellow art journalist Jan Yatsko. I always kept a journal, but when I discovered the art of writing my creativity in the journal, I bumped up on the notch. One type of art journal is a travel magazine. A scrapbook may be written on your travel page with a bit of available like a travel magazine's. It is natural that photos are used in a travel journal.
Jan's tour is quite different. She takes you into the jungle, shows you the beauty of Costa Rica and makes your own art. The flora and fauna of Costa Rica is great, and the bright paint around is very fun. This is not for everyone, but for those of artistic nature this may be above your alley. Jan teaches the portability of your art journaling kit and she has 8 years of experience in biking in and around Costa Rica. She moves to a beautiful place to show you amazing things to draw and paint.
However, if you are not actually doing "art" yourself, you are an art lover, provided by the San Jose Museum's way. The Costa Rica Museum of Art in San Jose is, in fact, the city Housed in a building used to be an airport. It should make a very interesting museum. There is also a translated Oropre Colombino Museum, which means the Columbia Gold Museum. It is rendered with sculptures and beautiful pieces and has a gold display announced at an attractive show.
If you are interested, there is a coin museum in the INS building, but it does not really float my boat. Works of local artists, as well as very large, contemporary art museum showing children's museum that would take a lot of time for children if you need it Insect Museum, Snake Exhibition, and finally There is also a crime museum.
There are also wonderful indigenous arts. If you go to www.galerianamu.com/map/ you will find all maps of indigenous peoples in Costa Rica. This map shows the local tribes in the region of Costa Rica where you will be visiting. I would recommend looking at their art and getting their own piece of original Costa Rican tribal art to take home with you.
If you are looking to have a truly unique experience, stay at Finca Rosa Blanca for at least a day. Owners, Glenn and Teri Jampol have created a successful environment. The architecture and decoration are fancy and the service is remarkable. Glen is an artist himself and may discuss art with you. Each room, unlike the original and others, comes with a Jacuzzi and a balcony.
The hotel has no windows and is said to have works of art from all over the world. The food offered is a 4-course dinner, which runs about $ 37 per person. This is far more expensive than any other dinner venue, but seems to be worthwhile in this environment. At the Finca Rosa Blanca Inn, pay attention to the wind and spend a dinner or two.
